"There can never be enough bookstores especially in El Barrio! With a history of being underserved in East Harlem, La Casa Azul will be a breath of fresh educational air in El Barrio. "La Casa" will be a place where Latinos can learn about other Latino cultures and non-Latinos can learn about us. I think it will be a place where activists can discuss community issues and do readings for the community. Also the fact that Ms. Anaya-Cerda is a resident of El Barrio, making it a locally Latina owned business warrants my support. It sounds like a great place I can bring my kids to learn to read and read to them."
